How to Translate MAT Assessment Findings into a Product Trial: Building Confidence through Practice – Case by Case

Facilitated by Sunrise Medical Clinical Director, Amy Bjornson, this is an intermediate course addressing the seating and wheelchair mobility needs of adult clients. We’ll follow on from the MAT Evaluation 101 session – translating your assessment findings into real world applications and product prescription.

This course will offer an opportunity to work through adult wheelchair prescription in a clear, step-by-step process designed to support successful outcomes. This session is case study-based to maximise learning, and give you confidence during equipment trials.

 This workshop will facilitate:

  • Selecting appropriate equipment for trial and encouraging communication with your supplier
  • Implementing seating solutions to foster appropriate postures and functional outcomes
  • Creating genuine seating and mobility solutions in the real world – considering patient desires, abilities and funding restrictions.
