Seating Solutions to Support Pressure Care Management

Power Mobility is proud to partner with Linds Rehab to present this insightful hands-on workshop as part of our commitment to delivering real-world, evidence-based solutions for prescribers.

During this session, we will explore a wide range of mobility and seating products for this common seating presentation, connecting product knowledge with meaningful client outcomes.

We will investigate seating solutions for:

  • Posterior Pelvic Tilt and Kyphosis
  • Obliquity and Scoliosis
  • Anterior Pelvic Tilt and Lordosis
  • Complex movement disorders
  • Pressure care management.

What you’ll learn in this session

By the end this workshop, therapists will be able to:

  • Feel confident with specific assessment techniques for the presenting asymmetrical postural presentation
  • Describe the key seating supports to either reduce asymmetry towards midline OR accommodate non-reducible postures
  • Have hands-on experience with a variety of products available in today’s market to achieve specific seating goals
  • Consolidate learning through case study presentations.

Meet Lauren Kerr

Director of Clinical Services – Linds Rehab

Join the Power Mobility team as we welcome Lauren Kerr, Director of Clinical Services at Linds Rehabilitation Equipment. Lauren joined the Linds team to provide product consultation support as an equipment specialist working with the Motion Composite, CG Air Cushions, PDG, NXT seating, Seating Dynamics and Amysystem Alltrack product range. Lauren has over 15 years of clinical experience working with wheelchair prescription and intervention implementation over a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, working through the spectrum from paediatric to aged care. Lauren has a passion to educate therapists in the practical applications of wheelchair assessments and intervention planning, to ensure goal setting becomes an easy and clear pathway to achieving wheelchair prescription success.
